We have approached this assignment as standard project, and applied normal project management methodology.

• Negotiated project charter;
• Identified deliverables, timescales, risks, constrains and, finally drafted a scope of works together with a viable plan;
• Execution phase included:
  • Identification of all major lottery terminal equipment manufacturers;
  • Creating formal introductory letters and techical requirements specifications for lottery equipment;
  • Initial approach/application to lottery equipment manufacturers and provision of technical and business requirements;
  • Initial responce revealed a list of companies interested to supply;
  • We have shortlisted a specific terminal equipment models for each of the manufacturers and asked for complete technical specification.
  • We have studied manufacturers presentations and technical specifications with respect to:
    • presence of all necessary components;
    • functionality;
    • security;
    • capacity;
    • operating systems licensing;
    • propiatery software solutions;
    • available interfaces / protocols;
    • robustness;
    • terms and conditions of supply;
    • spares availability and supply;
    • general design appeal;
    • ability to integrate with 3rd party equipment / networks;
    • price;
    • manufacturers capability to supply necessary quantities;
    • manufacturer stability;
    • etc.
  • We have presented to our client a full technical and business information necessary to make a final decision and recommended 2 models that to our opinion were the top 2 options.
  • We have helped to translate all necessary business and lottery equipment technical documentation in relation to this project .
  • We have conducted negotiations with the selected manufacturers on behalf of the client .
• All our efforts resulted in a along-term contract.
