Web development. Grassroots Coaching

This site with over 60,000 users: all football coaches / football people. Initial task was to conduct SEO work, which subsequently transformed in further total redesign of the user interfaces and the back-end (CMS).

Grassrootscoaching.com has been developed and designed to provide a one stop shop for football coaches of all levels. The biggest problem facing most coaches is how they can find the right kind of football coaching information to make sessions organized, safe, fun, innovative and relevant to the age and ability of the players. Football coaching sessions also need to be a positive learning experience, varied, progressive and enjoyable for both the coach and their players.

The work on this project included:

• General html/css/templates crafting
• Intergration with a streaming server
• Integration with a thrid-party Coaching Forum
• Integration with a third-party banner-serving system
• Overall CMS deployment and tuning
• Search engines optimisation

Particularly on SEO it was important to retain and improve the old high ranking, keeping the URL-naming structure same as it was, so to avoid 404 situations after deployment.
