Recommended upgrade for EXE and Preset.dat.

Few performance boosting modifications introduced to the main application and filters updated in some reports.

Instructions:

  1. Close the application.
  2. Right-click on this link (preset.dat, 160kb) and select "Save Target As" option.
  3. Save this file to 'C:\Program files\Distributed Reports\' folder.
  4. Overwrite the existing file.
  5. Right-click on this link (DReports.exe, 1.1Mb) and select "Save Target As" option.
  6. Save this file to 'C:\Program files\Distributed Reports\' folder.
  7. Overwrite the existing file

Version 2.0.0.292. Important upgrade!

Synopsis: Scottish Booksource have arranged data to be available from the internet FTP secure downoad. This means that if you have a broadband, unlimited or permanent connection to the Internet you do not need to plug-in the modem into a wall socket and dial-in to SBS server any more - you can use your existing internet connection to download the data.

With this upgrade we have also kept the dial-up option, in case you need to come back to dial-up option in the future for some reason.

We have now compiled a new installation pack that includes the latest version of the software, which allows using both ways to access data: via broadband, unlimited or permanent connection to the Internet, or via dial up connection.
