Background and a brief history of seo services
We've been following the industry since 1998, when search engine placement and optimisation (seo) was a matter of simple basics. At that time search engines were guided by the webmasters themselves and early versions of search algorithms relied on webmaster-provided information like meta tags. Soon some webmasters began to abuse meta tags, causing their pages to rank for irrelevant searches. In response, search engines developed more complex algorithms, taking into account a wider range of factors, but they still relied largely on what are today known as "on-site" factors. Examples of on-site factors include:
- Presence of keywords in the domain name.
- Presence of keywords in the site's directory and file names
- Presence of keywords in the title tags and "heading" tags
- etc.etc.
But still all those factors are controllable by webmasters. Natural evolution of search engines has lead them to develop new algorithms that also take into account an off-site factors, like link popularity, links value etc.
What does the above mean to your business?
Search engines are "large avenues" with millions of people of looking for information, products and services every day. If you are looking to promote your business and make it noticed on the internet then you need to adjust your website to be visible and "findable".
Why doing search engine optimisation with us?
- Because we do not guarantee you top ranking on all search engines! The only people who can do so are the owners of search engines. If someone is guaranteeing that - ask them if they own a specific search engine. If they do not, then it is rather a "marketing talk".
- We've been doing it for a long time.
- We only use ethical methods through organic optimisation and content development.
