Costs

SEO is not an exact science. Some sites require only few tweaks, while others require major re-thinking and additional coding. Influencing factors may include strength of competition and popularity of key word/phrase (to give you an idea: - it is very tough to propell a site for popular keywords like 'insurance', 'cars', 'football', 'property' etc., and not that difficult to seo for (say, errr ...) 'cranky spiders'.

We are happy to provide a free valuation before your make a decision. But to give you an idea of our charges the following will be more or less accurate:

  • A basic review and advice (written report for implementation) - from £450+VAT *.
  • SEO for an existing site (audit and code correction), one-of effort, - from £800+VAT *.
  • Participating in development of a new, search engine optimised, website - from £1500+VAT *.
  • Optional (although recommended) monthly monitoring/review and corrections/adjustments - from £300+VAT per month *.
  • Media planning and buying, PPC management - from £500+VAT per month.

* - depending on keyword popularity, strength of competition and extent of the site to be reviewed.

    • The solution for this colourful site was to transfer the image based content into text where possible. Additional optimised pages were created in order to address low page count.

Birlinn Limited

  • Full search engine optimisation cycle work to address poor indexing and positioning with search engines. -
    • Keyword research;
    • Creating highly optimised static template, where every parameter was linked to the source database.
    • Creating A-Z static index.
    • Creating automatic update script that re-creates all static pages every night based on the database content.
  • As a result of the above work all 700+ books were indexed in the search engines with majority of them taking top positions in the rankings.

  • Development of the online public / protected partner (shop) and media access web site for this distributor of sports goods, including search engine friendly optimised content / product catalogue. Work includes SEO.
