Technical translations. Rates
This page was created for your complete peace of mind and to ensure you that you are being fairly charged for your Russian technical translations. This page is regularly maintained and updated, so there might be variations in rates as reflection to our current workload.
- The present basic rate for the plain text translation of technical nature is £100=00 per 1000 words counted as of source. For overseas enquiries a quote could be given in US Dollars or Euros.
- We charge extra for desktop publishing (£2=00 per A4 page) and handling pictures/graphics (£2=00 per A4 size space), this is optional. See table 1 for more detailed explanation and samples.
- However, if your documentation is provided to us on PC/Mac media (floppy, CD, Zip cartridge etc.) and is already formatted you will not be charged for any formatting/desktop publishing job as we will just overwrite the original files (this also applies to conversion of ready made corporate Web-page into Russian or English).
- CAD drawings are charged on the relative basis as graphics (see table 2 for details).
- The above rates include the cost of return p&p within the UK.
- Overseas deliveries are charged at the current Royal Mail or a courier company rate (it is up to the Client to choose the carrier)
- Regular customers receive discounts.
- The above mentioned rate exclude VAT.

| Should you have a drawing (-s) for us to translate to/from Russian the cost of this service reflects the translation work as such (at today's flat rate of £10 per 100 words) plus a handling charge. Handling charge for CAD drawings covers the costs of operators time and graphics workstation. The rest is optional. | ||||||
