Online dinghy insurance application system.

This is an online application processing system for insuring dinghy. Since premiums for these items are low and it is difficult and costly to maintain personnel in order to process applications and stay competitive the new insurance procesing system takes care of virtually everything. It is is mostly automatic:

• The owner of a dinghy will complete only the initial part of the application form with the most essential data necessary to provide a quotation.
• The system will calculate the insurance premium and display it on the screen.
• If the premium is acceptable, then the owner will proceed completing the rest of the application form. - This was built with user-friendlienness in mind, because many people do not like filling-in long (or even not too long) forms and then to find out that the quotation is not that attractive.
• Once details are complete and the owner has agreed with terms and conditions he/she then can pay the premuim straight away.
• The system is integrated with a payment processing system.
• Once the payment has been processed (usually it takes few seconds) the dynghy will be insured and the owner will be issued with a reference/policy number.
